KD Analytical 

Provided strategic CFO and M&A support services to this leader in the training and support of CBRNE detection equipment. EagleFirst initially focused on strengthening the company’s financials, and then managed all aspects of the transaction to provide a successful exit for the owners.

ISG Thermal Systems 

Coordinated a successful divestment process to a large strategic US acquirer. EagleFirst initially provided CFO services to this developer of thermal image camera technology for fire-fighting applications, making the company's operations more robust, improving cash flow and profitability.

ETG Inc: $12m acquisition of a venture capital owned business 

Negotiated the terms and managed the due diligence for the acquisition of this government contractor, manufacturing / technology business.  Managed all aspects of the post acquisition integration and created a joint management team between the UK and US.  Helped double the size of the combined business in two years, and returned it to sustainable profitability.

Barringer Technologies Inc: $50m acquisition of US public Company

Developed the strategy and business case to acquire the company, then managed the entire acquisition and due diligence processes; and post-acquisition successfully integrated two competing product lines.  The payback on the acquisition was less than twelve months.

SensIR Inc Technologies Inc: $75m acquisition of a privately owned business

After defining the strategic rationale, negotiated complex deal terms and navigated significant IP concerns identified in the due diligence process for this fast growing and profitable provider of detection devices to emergency responder customers. Integrated the sales force to create a new Emergency Responder market presence for its products.

Product Inspection Division: $13m divestment of loss making business

Responsible for the entire divestment process including identifying target acquirers, running a controlled auction process and ultimately achieved a successful transaction for both the Seller and Buyer. The key challenges were overcoming the complex separation matters from the parent organization and negotiating satisfactory terms for the transfer of key senior management to the acquirer.

Avon Rubber plc: due diligence and integration planning

Successfully coordinated the acquisition due diligence and integration processes of a $15m US based acquisition for this UK publicly traded company. Identified some concerns in due diligence that ultimately caused the transaction to be aborted.

Fila USA: Business Improvement

Financial forecasting and reporting functions were redesigned, reducing the time needed to prepare interim financial forecasts from six weeks to two weeks. Variances between actual and budgeted expenses were reduced by 60%. Strategic and tactical plans were devised with executive management that leveraged brand equity and increased operational efficiency. Company net sales increased 16% and EBITDA increased $42.5m in the Plan’s first year.

Successfully transitioned a small privately owned business into the leading US Smiths development and manufacturing center. Transformed the company through strategic planning and process improvement, tripling revenue in three years.

Innovative Biosensors, Inc: Strategic Planning Leads Business Expansion and New Company Spin-Off Company

Expanded Innovative Biosensors innovative proprietary rapid pathogen detection and diagnostic systems technology to address new markets. Provided strategy to expand business that led to a spin-off company, PathSensors, which addressed security, environmental, food and agriculture markets.
